Before the transformation, this stunning multi-tiered deck in Lancaster, KY, stood as a prime example of outdoor craftsmanship, perfectly framing the breathtaking lake views. However, despite its grandeur, the space beneath the deck was left exposed, often damp and unusable due to rain. The lack of protection prevented the homeowners from fully utilizing the lower-level area. With Lancaster’s humid subtropical climate—featuring frequent rainfall—this limitation was a missed opportunity for maximizing the deck’s potential as a versatile outdoor living space.
To address this, a state-of-the-art Undercover System® was installed, pairing a durable black perimeter gutter system with elegant hickory-colored ceiling panels. The under deck system works seamlessly to channel rainwater away, ensuring the lower level remains completely dry, even during heavy downpours. The hickory-colored ceiling panels create a warm, inviting aesthetic that elevates the space to a sophisticated outdoor retreat.
The finished project transformed the once-vulnerable under-deck area into a functional, stylish living space. The addition of ceiling fans enhances comfort on warm summer days, while the sleek panels and lighting provide a cozy ambiance for evening gatherings. The homeowners now have a year-round outdoor oasis where they can relax, entertain, and fully enjoy the serene lake views regardless of the weather.
